RE:Make a donation toward producing my first studio CD  

In March we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary at Tula’s. This has become a favorite place for many to come and be part of a thriving jazz community.  Thank you for all your support! 

We also express our sincere appreciation to Mack and Michael for providing this unique venue for our group and other local and regional jazz musicians to play.

 Seattle Jazz Offering has been an ongoing presentation of many special musical talents. Each month, musicians as well as those who appreciate Jazz come together collectively for a common

artistic purpose and sheer enjoyment.  Many have expressed appreciation for this musical community and have contributed greatly to its continuity by their presence and resources.

My goal is to produce a CD this year.  I need your help to achieve it.  There have been several mentors of mine who never made a quality recording during their entire career.  The late great Rene Strange comes to mind.  His rich baritone voice was as smooth as silk.  Many remember his renditions of “I Remember You” and “Round Midnight” with great admiration.  But how many of us have a recording of him - if you do please burn me a copy of it.  As far as I know none exists.  This has been true of too many other musicians.  Therefore I am hoping that you will help me realize that goal.  I know that this request comes at a time of great economic hardships for many and so your well intended best wishes for success are also accepted.  But for those of you who can afford to help in a financial way, your contributions are greatly appreciated. 

Here are some ways that you may wish to contribute.

1. $ 75 or more donation, you will receive:
   • VIP pass to all 1^st Sunday Jazz shows at Tula’s for one full year.
   • CD at no charge upon release
   • Free admission to CD release party
   • Nominate 4-5 songs you would like me to record on upcoming CD.

2. Donate a little each month towards the specific goal of producing the CD

3. Let me know your ideas, suggestions or any resources you may have to help me complete this project.
